There is Magic with Taking Bold Steps

Say “yes” to bold moves

While frozen with fear to act, you continue to think about doing it, to the point that you become obsessed, you know in your gut that it is the right thing to do, yet you keep putting it off for fear of the unknown.

I’ve had situations when I was afraid to make a move, but I’ve learned that following the nudges is more life-giving than staying stuck. Stuck energy can suffocate you and leak into other areas in your life. Whereas when you act, the flow of life expands and leads to better experiences.

Interestingly, some of these nudges have been life-changing actions that I’ve taken with the trust in a supreme being, knowing that I may not know the how, but everything will work out perfectly. I would like to share some of my experiences as I made bold moves in my life.

Have a second child

There was a knowing in me that I was to give birth to a son, yet I was not married or dating. My daughter was seven years old, and I had no intention of having a child from a different father. The insane idea to ask my ex-husband to have another child with me came to me, and that same week I asked him the question. Surprise! He said “yes”, and ten months later I gave birth to my son. He is now twenty years old. I raised him with the help of my parents as a single mom until he was ten years old. It wasn’t easy but I am glad I followed Spirit’s nudge.

Enroll in coaching school

I was inspired thought was to become a certified life coach. Three days prior I had no idea what life coaching was about, yet when the opportunity to enroll at the Brave Thinking Institute, I knew it was the right thing to do despite the surprising investment amount. I learned about life coaching on a Thursday, and by Saturday morning I was enrolled.

Sell my house

About 6 weeks ago I was in meditation and was guided to sell my house. I resisted and answered, “No, I love this house, we’ve worked to beautify it.” There was no answer from Spirit other than “Sell your house”. When I told my husband he said, “I have been inspired to sell our home as well, so let’s do what we are being told to do.” Since then, I’ve been on a spree of donating, discarding, and packing. On Saturday the 2nd, we moved to a rental home, our house has been updated, painted, and is ready to be loved by the next owner.

In the meantime, his birth provided an opportunity for my parents to have something to live for. At the time, they were both retired and became immersed in the raising of my son. Initially, I felt bad by burdening them with extra work but one of my brothers corrected my thinking and in fact, thanked me. He said without Alex, I don’t think they would be living so fully.

Purpose to grow

In the discovery of whats ahead

My husband and I have a vision of a dream home, perhaps that is the reason we were called to sell this one. Or perhaps the reason lies in the difference we are making by renting from our family member to generate funds for her dementia memory care. Or, perhaps it is simply allowing us to receive the clarity of living simply as we step back as renters. Only Spirit knows why we were guided to this path, and I absolutely trust the process knowing that it will lead to the best version of us and our dream life.

TAKE AN INTROSPECTIVE LOOK

Are you being called to act? Have you heard the voice within or felt a nudge? Is it time to honor yourself by listening and acting? How long have you stayed still, and longed for a change in your life? If nothing changes, then nothing changes.

Your essence is Spirit

You are a Spiritual being living a human experience, and your essence is in Spirit. You are always connected. It is up to you to listen, act, and trust. Developing your relationship with Spirit takes time, repetition, and trust, but fully worth your effort. It feels like a partnership with God as you move in life, and you know that you are supported.

Spirit’s guidance

When you hear the voice within, trust the process that it’s calling you to do. There is a flow of grace in the guidance you receive. The pieces fall into place just in time for things to work in perfect order. Despite it looking like a swift action, everything aligns. You need not wait for all the lights to be green before taking the first step. There is magic when you act quickly because it sends the message of your absolute trust in your Source. And Spirit acts in kind by aligning with you and your desires.

In the Human Journey

You may be a person who up until now has ignored the nudges and must think things through and plan every detail. Giving up control is not something you are willing to do. Yet do you really think you are in control? Often, the tighter and more in control you believe you have, the more bogged down and stressed that you become. Is it worth continuing to live this way when there is an easier way? There is a more life-giving way. In the perfect planning that you’ve done, you’ve confronted challenges and obstacles. There are no guarantees of how things will turn out despite any manipulation that you do.

Partner with Spirit to live fully

So why not partner with Divine Intelligence in the unfolding of your life? The Source that breathes life is always acting for your highest good. The nudges and inspired ideas are the opened pathways leading to your dreams, fulfilling the desires of your heart.

It takes time, repetition, and practice to develop your relationship with Spirit to the point of trust. You have been living from your five senses, you’ve made decisions based on calculated moves thus far. It won’t happen overnight, but the more you do it, the more Spiritual muscle you will have.
