A Simple Lifehack to Success
Have you ever felt like there’s more to life than what you’re experiencing right now?
Maybe you feel like things are just too routine, and you’re missing out on something exciting.
Well, guess what? You’re not alone! My son and I were talking about this. He is finishing a semester in college, and his hours were cut at work. He knows he wants to fill his extra time with a goal that will give him a positive feeling.
He said he realized he feels good when working towards something he wants! Having a goal with milestones provides feel-good energy in his life.
He loves to body sculpt through powerlifting; as he works on different areas of his body and sees incremental muscle growth, it inspires him to continue.
It’s because our brains release happy hormones like dopamine, and we feel pleasure when we’re moving in the right direction.
But what happens when we reach our goal? Sometimes we feel like something’s missing again because our brains are already thinking about what’s next.
That’s why it’s essential to keep growing and learning new things. We feel bored and unhappy when stuck in the same routine for too long.
I remember having a job that started interesting but eventually became boring because of its monotony. I didn’t want to have the feeling of being stuck in a job I did not enjoy. I wanted to feel accomplished at the end of each day, so I turned it into a game!
I challenged myself to settle one more claim each day without sacrificing quality. And it worked! I felt accomplished daily, and eventually, I was promoted to a more challenging position.
That birthed a new career that led to a highly successful occupation where I became a leader in that industry.
That’s a life hack I want to share with you. Sometimes, we’re taught to go along with the crowd and not make waves. But being average and ordinary leads to an average and ordinary life.
One way to feel accomplished and motivated is to do more than expected. And since we live in a reflective universe, your efforts are rewarded by the Law of Compensation.
So, whatever area of your life feels like it’s on autopilot, think about how you can invigorate it. Instead of focusing on mediocrity, find a way to lean on being extraordinary.
It could be a simple goal to ensure positive interactions with people throughout the day.
The key is to stay committed, engaged, and consistent. Yet, I know it can be hard to break free from routines and get on the path to success.
That’s why I want to invite you to my workshop at the end of the month. It’s all about making successful fearless decisions and taking action.
You’ll learn to leave the monotony behind and live a life full of freedom and love.
